Kinza Academy schedules outings for home-educating families in the Greater Bay Area as a means of creating a support network for the home-educating community, and to provide social events for our home-educated children.
Home-education can be very challenging, and it is important that we meet, exchange ideas, share stories, and give each other support during these years, if we are going to be successful in establishing home-education as a viable means of learning for Muslim children.
As children start to get older, they have a greater need for their "own" friends, and these outings give them a chance to meet other home-educated children and form life-long friendships.
The outings are designed for all home-educating families, whether or not they are registered with Kinza Academy.
